TROTWOOD, Ohio — Police in Trotwood are investigating after a semi overturned Thursday morning, prompting a Hazmat response.

The crash happened around 830 a.m. when the driver attempted to make a left turn from southbound State Route 49 onto Wolf Creek Pike.

News Center 7 had a crew on scene and it appeared the driver did not suffer any injuries and was out of the cab talking to officers.

Trotwood Police requested Hazmat to the scene for a possible chemical spill.

The crash also appeared to knock out the traffic signal at the intersection as the lights were flashing red in all directions.
