Premier Health announced Wednesday it will spend over $2 million to upgrade the size and bed capacity of the SpringMeade Retirement home.
The new additions are scheduled to be finished in spring of 2018 and are intended to increase size of the facility to 12,000 square feet.
Comfort is also a big part of the renovation with an increase from 99 beds to 114 beds. There will now be 42 short-term beds also installed to help rehabilitation patients build their strength, officials told News Center 7’s Steve Baker.
The retirement home is an independent living community located at 4375 S. County Road 25A, Tipp City. It is part of the Upper Valley Medical Center and Premier Health.
Construction has already started.
