A Duke Energy worker died and another was hurt when the two fell while working on a power pole Thursday in Warren County.
The accident happened at 12:41 p.m. near the corner of Mason Morrow Milgrove and Stubbs Mill roads, which is southeast of Lebanon and outside of Morrow.
Keith Jester, 43, of Hamilton, was taken from the scene by CareFlight to Bethesda Arrow Springs where he died of his injuries, according to sheriff's and coroner's offices in Warren County.
The utility pole reportedly fell on top of one or both of the workers, according to the sheriff's office.
The other worker, whose identity was not released, was taken by life squad to Bethesda Arrow Springs. His condition was not immediately available.
What caused the fall was not immediately known, Duke Energy spokeswoman Sally Thelen told our media partner WCPO, Ch. 9 in Cincinnati.
