“The female was trying to ingest bleach, so the officers forced their way into the car to prevent the female from causing additional harm to herself,” said Dayton Police Sgt. Mike Godsey.

Vivian Mims remains in the Montgomery County Jail Wednesday, according to online jail records. She is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges June 30.

Vivian Mims on April 25, 2013, was convicted of felonious assault involving Bobby Mims and was sentenced to five years’ probation with community control sanctions that prohibited her from having contact with him or being within 1,000 feet of him, according to Montgomery County court records.
