TIPP CITY — A person is being held by police for questioning after being accused of showing a gun and threatening to have a bomb inside his vehicle at Kyle Park, according to Tipp City Police.

“Upon the arrival of the department members, it was learned that a dispute took place over dogs being in the park without leashes,” Tipp City police said in a statement.

Police closed the park while the Dayton Police Department Bomb Squad investigated. Police said in an updated statement around 2 p.m. that the park was deemed safe and reopened.
