A Dayton woman said she was robbed at gunpoint by a man who contacted her through Craigslist about buying her car.
The woman told police the man came to her house on Fauver Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, and asked for the keys to the Pontiac so he could look at it, according to a police report.
When she opened her purse to get the keys, she said the man spotted an envelope she had that contained about $2,000 cash. At that point, "his eyes became enlarged," she said.
She said he lifted his shirt, showed her a gun in his pants and yelled at her to give him the money, according to a report. He then fled in his own car.
He has not yet been located.
The woman said she had the money in her purse because she is about to move, according to the report.
