SALEM TWP., Champaign County — Miami Valley schools are getting special security help.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is flying a drone over local schools, at the request of the district, to map their campus.
Today a BCI drone flew over West Liberty-Salem High School in Champaign County to help the district create its safety plan.
The school was the scene of a shooting that seriously injured one student last year.
