Verizon store break-in has officers searching

A pane of shattered glass is evident of a break-in at a Trotwood Verizon Cellular store.

Before 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, Trotwood police officers responded to a report of an active break-in at a cellular store in the 5500 block of Salem Avenue.

As police arrived, they located a smashed window pane on the side of the building.

Officers said the alarm did function and it was reported four black male suspects were seen leaving the address in a sedan.

A search is being conducted.

The incident is under investigation.
