UPDATE @ 6:25 p.m. (Jan. 11):
Police found cash register drawers inside a vehicle Thursday night that were stolen during a robbery from Family Dollar, according to a Dayton police incident report.
The drawers were found around 10:30 p.m., about an hour and a half after the robbery.
The vehicle is believed to be a part of the aggravated robbery that took place at 1028 N. Gettysburg Ave., the report stated.

No arrests have been made.
FIRST REPORT (Jan. 10)
Three young men in surgical masks robbed a Family Dollar store tonight at gunpoint.
Police were called just before 9 p.m. to the store, 1028 N. Gettysburg Ave. near Kammer Avenue in Dayton.
Officers said the suspects took cash from the register, totaling between $200 and $700, and then took off running out the back of the store and headed east through woods nearby.

The trio of robbers was described as young men wearing surgical masks and hoodies. At least one suspect pushed over a clerk in the store, according to initial reports, but a medic was not requested.
A police K-9 was trying to track the robbers but was unsuccessful.
