Surveillance catches Walmart laptop thief in act

Police are seeking information leading to the arrest of a computer thief who struck at a Greene County Walmart.

Beavercreek police say the man stole a laptop from the Walmart store on Pentagon Boulevard on Jan. 30. He placed the computer inside a cart before wheeling it out of the store without paying.

The stolen computer is valued at $400, according to investigators.

The thief fled as a passenger in a tan Chevrolet Impala with an unknown license plate number.
