A woman shopper at the Burlington Coat Factory was the victim of a strong arm robbery on Monday, July 13 at the location at 5120 Salem Ave. when her purse was violently stolen from her.
The purse snatcher was described as a white male, thin build, with short hair, wearing light blue shorts, a dark hoodie sweatshirt and white athletic shoes.
The suspect was captured on surveillance video shoving and grabbing the 61 year-old victim, knocking her down and violently dragging her across the front of the store and into a fixture. There, the woman lost her grip on her purse strap and the suspect fled with her bag.
