The victim, a 19-year-old male from Riverside, is listed as a patient at Miami Valley Hospital, but his condition is not being released.
According to the Dayton police report, The victim appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, but there was not a lot of bleeding.
He underwent surgery immediately after arriving at the hospital, according to the report.
Police said officers were not able to determine where the shooting occurred, as the victim refused to cooperate.

Dayton police said a man is not cooperating with police after walking into a Taco Bell with a gunshot wound Saturday morning.
Police added the male victim was shot at a different location before walking into the store at 1414 North Keowee Street around 7 a.m. The man suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach area and was transported to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.
Police declined to release his condition.
Investigators said the man is not cooperating and are unsure where he was actually shot.

Police and medics in Dayton have responded to a report of a person shot at Taco Bell on North Keowee Street Saturday morning.
Crews were dispatched around 7:10 a.m. to the restaurant at 1414 North Keowee Street after a shooting victim was found. Reports indicate the victim has a gunshot wound to the abdomen, but the severity of the injury is unclear.
Initial reports also indicate police are not sure where the shooting occurred, and believe the incident could have occurred at a different location.
