According to the chapter’s Facebook, the search commenced at 8 a.m., with the command center at St. Helen’s Church, 5086 Burkhardt Road, in the “Smith” building.

The weekend of April 6 was the first time the public could join professionals in the last search for the Riverside mom. She is the subject of a homicide investigation.

All searchers must be at least 18 with a valid ID, dressed appropriately for the weather and for wooded terrain.

Prior to that April weekend search, Texas EquuSearch spent six weekends searching the Dayton area for any sign of Coker. Each search turned up items of interest, the organizatin said.

Coker was last seen Oct. 2, 2018, dropping off her daughter at school in Riverside. Police have identified her husband, Bill, as a person of interest. Riverside police have not pursued charges against Bill Coker, who has maintained his innocence.
