Man took cash, cigarettes in Railroad Express drive-through robbery

MIAMISBURG — UPDATE @ 9:25 p.m.

A robbery suspect did not show a gun but suggested he had one when he took money out of the cash register and stole cartons of cigarettes from the Railroad Express drive-through and carryout in Miamisburg.

The suspect ran up Riverview Avenue, but a K-9 was not able to track the suspect. However, a Miamisburg police supervisor said officers may have an idea of who committed the crime. No arrests have been made, and no injuries were reported.

Police are searching for a gunman tonight who held up Railroad Express in Miamisburg.

The armed robbery was reported around 8 p.m. at the drive-through and carryout, 110 S. Riverview Ave.

A K-9 unit was requested to help track the suspect.
