MINSTER — Minster police are searching for a suspect they say have been passing counterfeit money in several counties in the Miami Valley and the Cincinnati area.
The suspect is identified as Jurode D. Jordan. He is accused of passing an older-style, bleached $100 counterfeit notes (Serial Number: B62817952B) 1977 series, in the Auglaize, Shelby, Miami County as well as the Dayton-Cincinnati areas on numerous occasions, according to a press release.
Jordan has been driving rental cars while passing in areas along Interstate 75, the release said.
Anyone who has seen the suspect is asked to call 911 immediately.
