Bail totaling $1 million was ordered Wednesday for a Miami County woman facing four felony charges of rape of a 17 year old mentally handicapped male.
Troy police charged Rodeanna Owen, 36, after the teen's mother and a friend told police of the alleged sexual conduct at a Troy apartment. Owen's address is listed as both Troy and Piqua.
The male told police he was afraid to talk about the encounters out of fear he would be beat up if the woman got in trouble.
Bail of $250,000 was set on each of the charges in county Municipal Court.
Owen's preliminary hearing was scheduled for Jan. 17.
