Police are searching for a man wearing big dark sunglasses and a gray sweatshirt who is wanted for a bank robbery at the Chase Bank on Woodman Drive in Kettering.
The hold up occurred just after 2 p.m. Friday.
According to Kettering Police dispatchers, the man did not have a gun, but passed a note to the teller.
He is described as a white male, thin build, 5 ft. 8 inches tall, in his mid to late 20s, wearing black shorts, and red gym shoes. The teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money. The man did not display a weapon and no one was injured during the hold up. The suspect left the bank on foot running south on Woodman Drive.
A police K9 tracked to the south and lost the scent in the shopping center's parking lot. The robbery currently remains under investigation.
