Authorities say Boyd pulled a gun on a woman July 14 and demanded keys to her Chevrolet Malibu. He then allegedly was involved in a police pursuit that included officers from multiple jurisdictions. The chase ended in a crash in the 900 block of Upland Avenue in Dayton, with Boyd able to flee on foot and avoid arrest, police said.

He was arrested July 26 by the U.S. Marshals at an apartment on Daytona Parkway in Dayton.

Boyd remains held without bond in the Montgomery County Jail and is scheduled to appear Tuesday for arraignment in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
