Man arrested tells officer, "You can't be touchin' me!"

Two men were arrested at the Lounge at 212, in downtown Dayton at 212 S. Ludlow St., during the execution of search warrant at about midnight Saturday.

One of them, Charley Simmons II, was reportedly uncooperative during the police search for illegal liquor sales. The Dayton police incident indicated the arresting officer believed Simmons was the bartender in a bootleg bar. He reportedly refused to follow an officer's instructions and was taken into custody.

The second man, Demetrius Wright, 37, was taken into custody for operating a bootleg bar.

The location was formerly Club Envy and The A-List Lounge, where one man was shot to death in 2011.

Simmons was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a charge of obstructing official business. As he was being handcuffed, he reportedly yelled, "you can't be touchin' me!"

One month ago, police shut down the business after a patrol officer discovered the club was selling liquor without a liquor license.
