A tip that a camera had been installed in the toilet area of a unisex restroom has led to the arrest of a St. Henry man.
Mercer County deputies arrested Timothy Knapke, 52, Wednesday on charges of attempted voyeurism and obstructing official business.
An anonymous tipster told deputies the camera was in the restroom of Tru-Edge Grinding on Jim Lachey Drive.
By the time deputies arrived, they say the camera had been tossed in a dumpster picked up by a trash truck, but detectives were able to find the truck and the camera equipment.
Deputies say a search warrant for the business turned up more evidence and pointed to Knapke as the person who allegedly installed the device.
Knapke posted a $325 bond and was released from the Mercer County Jail, online records show. The investigation is ongoing.
