One juvenile is in custody but another is still on the loose after the pair was caught breaking into the Merchant's Flea Market this morning.
Montgomery County deputies responded to the business, 3700 Keats Drive, around 5:30 a.m. on a business alarm.
The first deputy to arrive on the scene witnessed two juveniles running out the front door of the business. The deputy pursued the subjects as they ran around the back of the building and into a nearby creek bed.
A taser was deployed to stop one of the fleeing subjects, a juvenile male who was later checked out by medics and taken into custody.
Deputies and Dayton police officers attempted to locate the second subject, but after searching the area they did not find anyone.
When deputies went back to the business to investigate after the foot pursuit they found several large bags filled with items from inside the flea market. They believe the subjects were attempting to leave the building with the filled bags.
