A man was arrested in Tipp City on a charge of domestic violence after leading police on a short manhunt early Sunday morning.
Police responding to the parking lot of Wendy’s on Weller Drive in Tipp City on a possible robbery report. When police arrived they discovered the incident was a “rolling domestic” that had ended in the parking lot.
One person fled the scene resulting in a short manhunt. Tipp City requested mutual aid from the Miami County Sheriff’s Department , the Ohio State Highway Patrol, West Milton and Troy police.
Cole Dyson, 22, of Riverside, was arrested and booked into the Miami County Jail on a domestic violence charge.
A shot had reportedly been fired. A gun was later recovered by police.
