CSU students jailed in arson investigation

Two Central State University students are accused of starting a small fire on campus, where five years earlier a dorm fire sent injured students jumping out of windows.

Naiem Brinkley, 20, and Imogen Ross, 18, were booked into the Greene County Jail Tuesday night on suspicion of arson and inducing panic.

Gayle Barge, CSU public relations director, confirmed the two arrested are Central State students.
No details were released about the allegations.

In 2008, students in Hunter Hall were forced to jump out of windows to escape flames that ripped through the dorm.

The State Fire Marshal determined the fire was arson and it was started in a storage room of the dorm. Three students were injured in that incident.
