A 35-year-old Centerville mother who prompted an Amber Alert last week is facing charges.
Centerville police confirm Melissa C. Myers was arrested on Monday. She is charged with aggravated menacing, inducing panic and domestic violence, according to Kettering Municipal Court.
Myers and her 2-year-old son were found safe in a Monroe hotel after law enforcement agencies in Ohio and Kentucky were advised to be on the lookout for the pair via the Amber Alert system.
Myers disappeared after she allegedly called police May 7, threatening to kill herself and her child.
Myers was booked into the Kettering Jail. She has since bonded out and was released.
