Can you ID man who stole more than $500 in items from Kettering Goodwill?

KETTERING — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who stole more than $500 in merchandise from a Goodwill store.

Kettering police posted a video on Tuesday to its Facebook page that showed the man circle an aisle several times, placing socks in a shopping cart at Goodwill, 1970 E. Dorothy Lane.

Anyone with information is urged to call Kettering police at 937-296-2555 or email officer Christian Cork at christian.cork@ketteringoh.org.

The surveillance video was from two separate incidents at the store involving the same thief, in which police said more than $500 in items were stolen.

Police said the suspect is likely involved in organized retail theft and is not someone in need.
