Police in Huber Heights said would-be theives attempted to break into two cell phone stores on Brandt Pike Wednesday morning.
Officers were first dispatched around 4:15 a.m. on a reported alarm at Cricket Wireless at 4688 Brandt Pike.
In a release, police said a rock was used to break a glass door, but nothing was taken from the store.
While police were checking other nearby phone stores, officers found the front door of Metro PCS at 5188 Brandt Pike was also broken into by a rock thrown into a glass door. Police said nothing was taken from this store either.
Police are investigating both incidents as criminal damaging and attempted breaking and entering incidents.
