12 arrested, 17 sought in Sidney drug roundup

Sidney police are still looking for 17 of 29 people indicted on 91 drug-related charges following a roundup today that nabbed 12 people.

The indictments were handed down today by a Shelby County grand jury as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, Sidney police said.

Sidney police said authorities are still looking for: Scott Carson, William Conley, Veronica Edwards, Danielle Elmore, Brandon Engley, Ashley Hickman, Casey Hughes, Colin Hymes, Curtis Johnson, Candiss Lucas, Erik Reed, Matt Reed, Katrina Taylor, Lemone Upkins, Jonathan Wells, Gordy White and Carlos Wilson.

According to Sidney police, those arrested are: James Agner, Amie Baker, Billie Bliss, Travis Brown, Brittany Ceyler, Tony Ceyler, Zachary Fitchpatrick, Julie Jones, Preston Nunn, Cody Skelley, Stacey White and Ashley Woten.

Sidney police are rounding up 29 people wanted on 91 drug-related indictments as part of an ongoing investigation.

The roundup began around 3 p.m., with the Ohio State Highway Patrol assisting.

Half of the indictments involve heroin, and the rest are other drugs, such as crack cocaine and prescription medications.

All of the suspects live in Sidney. One of those arrested lived directly across the street from the Sidney Police Department, and another was a mother of several children.
