Armed woman indicted for robbing 3 men in Dayton

A woman accused of robbing three men at gunpoint in downtown Dayton in July was indicted Monday by a Montgomery County grand jury.

Ashlee Williams, 25, is charged with aggravated robbery, carrying concealed weapons, aggravated menacing charges after police say she held a gun to the men's heads and robbed them of their wallets and cell phones.

Police said she had a gun hidden in her bra when they arrested her at about 3 a.m. on July 10, near East Third near Saint Clair streets.

Williams said she had the weapon for her own protection, and felt threatened by the men inside the Masque nightclub.

The stolen phones were later found by police in a vehicle registered to Williams, according to the report.

Williams' arraignment is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 21.
