Cox Media Group names two multi-market vice presidents

Cox Media Group has named Tim Burke as multi-market vice president of content and Eric Myers as multi-market vice president of sales, the company announced Monday.

Burke, who currently serves as publisher of The Palm Beach Post and Palm Beach Daily News, will oversee content execution, strategy and business goals for the company’s newspaper brands’ products and platforms, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Palm Beach Post, Austin Statesman, Dayton Daily News, Springfield News-Sun and the JournalNews.

With this leadership change, he will continue overseeing Post operations during a transition period.

Myers, who serves as vice president of Advertising Sales for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, will lead print and digital strategy, and oversight for all CMG Newspaper Sales as well as CMG Ohio, which produces the Dayton Daily News, Springfield News-Sun, JournalNews and WHIO-TV and WHIO-Radio.
