DAYTON — North Gettysburg Avenue was shut down this evening after an accident involving a motorcycle and a pick-up truck occurred on the roadway near Prescott and Eichelberger Avenues.
Police crews were dispatched to the scene at 8:19 p.m.
Witnesses saw one person taken into custody by police after he was removed from the truck. One person was taken to an area hospital for unknown injuries.

The motorcycle was found about a block and a half away from the scene behind a commercial garage. It is unknown at this time how the motorcycle arrived there.
