Students and professional artists from all over gathered in National Road Commons Park Saturday to showcase their skills with chalk.

The National Trail Parks and Recreations Department held their annual ChalkFest and awarded prizes for the best chalk art.

High School students, Wittenberg University students, and other adults gathered together to share their love for drawing.
The event started around 8:30 a.m., giving artists until approximately 4 p.m. to finish their artwork.
Even young children were welcome to pick up some chalk and start drawing.

Live music and food trucks were also available at the annual event.
