Bill’s Donuts temporarily closes after employee tests positive for COVID-19

Centerville, Ohio — The owner of Bill’s Donuts reached out to News Center 7 and confirmed that she is closing the shop for two weeks.

Lisa Tucker said she is not taking any chances after one of her employees tested positive for COVID-19.

Tucker said the employee had not been to work for more than a week and thought they may have gotten the virus while attending a high school graduation party.

After Tucker talked with the health department, she said out of abundance of caution, she decided to close.

When Bill’s Donuts reopens on July 15, Tucker said they will go back to carry out only.
