Assault accusation against Eaton school official under review

The city prosecutor’s office is reviewing an allegation that an administrator for Eaton Community Schools was involved in an assault or disorderly conduct with a school employee.

Eaton Police Chief Chad DePew confirmed the police division took a report, but no charges have been filed.

DePew said the prosecutor is reviewing the allegation to determine whether charges would be filed.

WHIO-TV began asking questions about the administrator based on a tip that the administrator has been placed on paid leave.

The superintendent did not respond to our requests for comment.

WHIO-TV is not identifying the administrator by name because no charges have been filed.
