SUV slams into parked car in Clayton, which pushes it into garage door of home

CLAYTON — UPDATE @ 6:35 p.m.: The driver of a black SUV was taken to a hospital Friday afternoon after Clayton police said he apparently lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a parked car in the 4900 block of Seville Drive.

The extent of his injuries was not certain, said police, who noted they would be continuing their investigation to determine whether the male driver was intoxicated.

Police said he was headed west on Seville when his SUV hit the parked car, a small Toyota. The impact left the smaller car and the garage door of the home heavily damaged.

Police and fire crews are at a house in Clayton that has been hit by a vehicle.

INITIAL REPORT

Crews were dispatched to the 4900 block of Seville Drive just after 5:30 p.m. on the report of a vehicle into a structure.

We're hearing crews have found the vehicle, heavily damaged, up against the house and not much damage to the residence.

The occupants in the car were able to get out. There has been no report of injuries or whether anyone was in the house.
