DAYTON — A private memorial service for Dayton Police K9 Phantom held Wednesday at the Dayton F.O.P. Lodge No. 44 (4275 Powell Road).
Members of the Dayton Police Department Canine Unit were among those to attend the ceremony, which wasfor law enforcement personnel only.

Phantom, the third partner of longtime Canine Unit Police Officer Rob Cleaver, died recently from a blood clot after seven-and-a-half years of service to the police department and the city of Dayton.
