Man charged with aggravated murder in fatal Middletown house fire

MIDDLETOWN — UPDATE 8/15/20 @ 5:33 p.m.:

A female is dead after a house fire on Lind Street in Middletown Friday night.

Investigators were able to identify a suspect and have made an arrest in connection to the fire.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, but police ask that you call Detective Morgan at 513-425-7735 if you have any information.

Anson Pride has been charged with aggravated murder and aggravated burglary, according to detectives.

INITIAL REPORT 8/14/20 @ 10:33 p.m.:

The investigation into the cause of a house fire tonight in the 1200 block of Lind Street in Middletown is continuing as the street remains blocked to traffic.

Crews initially were dispatched about 8:50 p.m. on the report of a dwelling fire with an adult trapped inside.
