Holiday Help: Fairhaven Church partners with LEC to provide Christmas Store for less fortunate

Dayton — The Life Enrichment Center on 425 North Findlay Street will once again partner with Fairhaven Church to host a Christmas Store for families struggling with poverty.

The attendees of Fairhaven Church donated toys, clothing, gift cards and Bibles to stock the store where shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase new gifts at dramatically reduced prices. Shoppers must be pre-registered with the LEC to participate.

The goal of the Christmas Store is to help families struggling financially to be able to experience the joy of shopping for loved ones and selecting gifts for their children.

Hours of the store are:

Friday, December 8, 4-9PM

Saturday, December 9, 9AM-4PM

Sunday, December 10, 1-8PM

Monday, December 11, 2-7PM

The Life Enrichment Center is a faith-based, nonprofit organization providing life-building and life-sustaining services to the less fortunate in the Dayton and surrounding communities.

The LEC provides services such as meals, grocery distribution and a host of practical programs such as educational classes, recovery groups, nutrition seminars and bike programs.

The LEC strives to help educate clients and offer assistance so that individuals and families can help themselves restore their purpose and dignity.
