Cloudy, cooler overnight with weekend storms ahead

Overnight: Skies will be partly cloudy overnight. It will be chilly with temperatures dropping into the middle 40s, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Friday: Partly sunny skies are expected with temperatures climbing into the lower 70s. There will be a chance for a passing shower or storm by afternoon with increasing chances of storms toward late evening. A few storms could be strong Friday night.

Saturday: Cloudy skies are expected with occasional rain and storms. An isolated storm could be strong. Temperatures will reach into the middle 70s.

Sunday: Expect partly cloudy skies and windy conditions. There will be the chance of a passing storm during the day with increasing chances toward evening. A few storms could be strong late Sunday. Highs will be in the lower 80s.

Monday: Cloudy skies are expected with rain in the morning tapering off. Temperatures will turn cooler with early highs in the middle 60s but falling in the afternoon.

Tuesday: Partly sunny skies and cooler temperatures are in the forecast.
