San Diego police said an officer saw a woman operating a forklift along Sports Arena Boulevard and before he realized what was going on, a person ran over to him to report the bizarre incident, KSWB reported.

The woman, who has not been identified, refused to pull over when police asked her to, sparking a low-speed pursuit. When she made a U-turn into a parking lot, a bystander grabbed the key from the ignition.

“A bystander obviously had some experience with it, and knew exactly what to do to help us disable it so that we could take her into custody,” Sgt. Michael Serrano told KSWB.

It is unclear charges will be filed against the woman.
