5 people make it out safe of burning car on I-75 north

UPDATE @ 1:20 p.m.:

Five people got out safely of a car that burst into flames Sunday afternoon, according to Trooper William Dendler.

A 1995 Toyota Camry was traveling north on I-75 in the right lane when the car started experiencing mechanical failure. The drive pulled to the right should of the road when it started to burn.

Everyone in the car, including the driver, was able to make it out safely, Dendler said.

We are hearing reports of a car fire on northbound Interstate 75 at Interstate 70.
