Riverside cruiser in crash at car fire scene

UPDATE @ 9:15 a.m.:

The left lane is back open on northbound Harshman Rd.

UPDATE @ 8:13 a.m.:

The left lane of northbound Harshman Rd. is closed, just north of Beatrice, as police work to clear the car fire and crash that occured around 7:25 a.m. From our crew on the scene, a car apparently tried to do a u-turn just as a Riverside officer pulled up to the car fire.

FIRST REPORT:

A Riverside police cruiser was involved in a crash following a car fire reported on Harshman Rd. at Arrowrock Ave.

No one was injured, according to Riverside dispatch.

We have a crew headed to the scene and will have more soon.
