Semi brake fire ignites trailer on I-70 West in Butler Twp.

A semi trailer caught fire early Sunday morning after its brakes failed and set fire to the trailer, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper.

The truck was traveling on I-70 west near the Airport Access Road exit.

The driver wasn’t hurt, the trooper said. When the fire began, the driver noticed the flames and detached the trailer, driving the truck away from the danger.
