Old Kmart building gives way to $5M development in Xenia

More retail stores and dining establishments are getting closer to becoming a reality in Xenia.

Demolition on the former Kmart building will start today and will pave the way for the a $5 million redevelopment project that will include a mix of retail and restaurants on 5.6 acres of land.

The demolition will continue into January before construction starts in the spring.

New stores and eating establishments who will move into the area have not been confirmed at this time.
