Police seeking 2 masked men who robbed Dollar General

UPDATE @ 10:35 a.m. March 22

Police are asking for help identifying two individuals who robbed the Dollar General store at 888 S. Gettysburg Ave. on March 16.

The robbery occurred at approximately 8:40 p.m.

Two males, one wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans with a black hooded sweatshirt underneath; the other wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white insignia carrying a gun, entered the store and pointed the gun at the cashiers and customers.

A vehicle, possibly an older model Volvo, dropped off the two males prior to the robbery. Detectives are asking for the public’s help in the identification and location of the suspects of this robbery.

Police are investigating an armed robbery reported tonight at a Dollar General store in Dayton.

The robbery was reported at 8:45 p.m. at the store, 888 S. Gettysburg Ave.

According to initial reports, two men with masks covering their faces showed a gun and fled with money in an unknown direction.

One suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a red mask and dark clothing holding a dark brown revolver. The second suspect was described as standing 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 6 inches wearing all black with a black and gray mask.
