10 handguns, marijuana discovered during search warrant

MERCER COUNTY — A Mercer County man remains in jail after several handguns, marijuana, and cash were discovered during a search warrant of a house in Rockford Tuesday.

The search was executed at the home in the 200 block of West South Street in Rockford around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Mercer County Chief Deputy Sheriff Gery Thobe said in a media release.

During the search, deputies located raw marijuana, THC infused products, drug paraphernalia, ten handguns, and over $7,000 in cash.

Glen W. Keeling II, 44, was arrested during the search and was booked into the Mercer County Jail on drug trafficking charges. The case has been sent to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of additional charges, deputies said.
