Funerals underway for teens killed in Greene County crash

The funeral services for Connor Williams of Fairborn and David Waag of Beavercreek have begun. Springfield News Sun reporter Parker Perry is in attendance.

The funeral services for the two teens killed in a crash on Wilkerson Road over the weekend are scheduled for this morning at the Greenon High School football stadium.

Connor Williams, 15, of Fairborn, and David Waag, 17, of Beavercreek, were killed in the crash after the driver of the vehicle lost control on Wilkerson between Fairborn and Yellow Springs Sunday afternoon.  Williams and Waag were back seat passengers and were not wearing seat belts, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The vehicle was driven by 18-year-old Trey Blevins, of Enon, and the front passenger was Zach Knauer, 17, of Springfield. Knauer and Blevins suffered injuries not believed to be life threatening.

Services are set to begin at the stadium at 11 a.m.
