Investigators working to determine cause of small airplane crash at Clark County airport

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Post of the Ohio State High Patrol is investigating a small plane crash at the Beckley Municipal Airport in Clark County Sunday afternoon.

The pilot of the plane was the only person inside at the time of the crash. He was not injured and was up and walking around shortly after the crash, dispatchers confirmed.

After the crash, the plane was reported off the side of the runway with heavy damage.
