Firefighters battle vacant house fire in Harrison Township

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — Crews are on the scene of a vacant house fire near the corner of Falmouth Ave. and Michigan Ave. in Harrison Township.

There are no reported injuries at this time.

Fire crews have not been able to search the entire house because the blaze destroyed the second floor.

When crews arrived at the fire they describe the fire as being “fully involved” just before 5:00 a.m.

Crews have not determined the origin or cause of the fire.
