Car fire on I-75 North in Miami County causes backups

MIAMI COUNTY — The fire department responded to a report of a car fire on Interstate 75 North in Miami County around 11:20 a.m., Saturday.

I-75 north was shut down near mile marker 82 while crews worked to put the fire out.

The interstate appears to be back open but travelers may experience delays.

We are working to learn if anyone was injured in the fire.
