Broken water main creates flood at Kohl’s Miamisburg

MIAMISBURG — Shoppers at Kohl’s Miamisburg store probably didn’t notice the flood that hit the back of the store Thanksgiving Night after a water main under the building broke, Miami Valley Fire District fire officials said.

The broken main forced water through the back of the store, which forced workers to get out their brooms and mops. Customers didn’t have to leave and the holiday shopping continued.

Fire crews were dispatched just before 8 p.m. on a report of flooding at the store, 10800 Innovation Drive.
